well g3 June 24, 2007 Ive owned this gun for a couple months now and im happy with my purchase. This gun is very good it has a few problems though. 1 it tends to misfire alot on auto,i fired about 10 shots and bbs only came out 4 times, but that can be fixed if you spray the inside of the clip with some type of lube or buy a new one. 2 the clip feels very week it is very light and plastic. This gun is very good for its price. you can hold off alot of people with better guns easly. I faced a utg m14, echo1 x36c, and utg ak47 and i beat them all with ease. this gun is worth the money and is very durable. Also i am not new to airsoft ive been playing for a few years so i know what im talking about.
Not really worth $79.00... June 6, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Yes it looks cool, and yes it has a full metal gearbox and everything, but it is probably one of the most difficult guns to operate I have ever had.
- The instructions that come in the box are WORTHLESS. They're written with horrible gramar and the pictures don't really match up with what the words are trying to say. - The battery is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get into the right position so you can get all of the wires out of the way so you can actually slide the foregrip/sight rail back on. - Once you are ready to shoot, you load up the high capacity magazine and turn the wheel on the bottom that advances the bbs up the magazine shaft and into the gun. The gun WILL CONSTANTLY DRY FIRE due to the cheap feeding system of the magazine. It can be fixed if you keep turning the feed wheel. This GETS TIRESOME and if you were in a game, you would not want to keep goofin' with your magazine in the middle of a shoot-out... - The main trigger grip heats up quite quickly. I'm assuming that the motor is either in the handle or some part of it is that causes this to happen.
Overall this gun has a decent rate of fire and fair velocity, but a terrible feed system and complicated battery installation system. If you can get this exact gun for less than $79.00, get it. I do not belive that this gun is worth that much money. Good for a kid who doesn't care about competition, but if you're looking for a cheap electric gun to use in social airsofting, THIS IS NOT IT...
FRICKIN SWEET March 3, 2007 Hey people. If you're looking for a not-to-high-end and not-too-crappy machine gun, this is it.
The price is perfect, and rate of fire is insane. I was just at a war, actually and i was (somehow) always against this kid with a classic army mp5. I just clicked this baby on full auto and smashed his lights out. It shoots around 15-21 bbs per second, the FPS is like 330-350 and the only (very very tiny) problem is that sometimes the gun misfires. THIS IS NOT A BIG PROBLEM AT ALL. IT'S EASY TO FIX. all you have to do is keep pressing the trigger. The battery is wonderful. 8.4, sure but it lasts long. I was playing a 1 and a half hour game and it didn't wear out. It will let off like 1200 bbs before it starts dying. This gun is wonderful. Don't be tricked from the picture- it has a orange barrel. Suggested Upgrades- - A Tightbore barrel - 9.6 battery - Gear upgrades - M120 or M130 spring.
All of those will add up to be about 70 bucks. its worth it.
YOU WILL NEVER FEEL OUTGUNNED IF YOU ARE ARMED WITH THIS BABY
Cool gun November 8, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a cool gun.It will kill a soad can. It shoots heka fast (340fps) and holds 400bbs.
mid-grade aeg November 2, 2006 This is a good gun, its powerful and it keeps people's heads down when you're firing at them during an airsoft war. The scope isnt that good, the mount will just end up braking so i just use the sight on it. The clip holds a lot but it jams a lot, which is annoying during a war.
