Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The hottest deal of the summer can now be yours! This lightweight single shot air rifle is equipped with removable scope with fixed reticle and adjustable elevation sight. For those covert ops missions you can use the removable adjustable bipod. Clip holds 20 rounds of 6 mm bullets. Not too heavy and easy to operate but, this is not a toy! Disclaimer: Federal law requires orange tips. Do not remove the orange tip found on your airsoft gun.

Amazon.com Product Description
A 1:1 scale replica of a genuine rifle, this air spring rifle is remarkably authentic. The rifle fires round 6mm plastic pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun through a spring-powered mechanism. The advantage of the airsoft rifle, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The rifle looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft rifle is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The air spring rifle offers such features as a single-shot design, a removable scope with a fixed reticle, an adjustable elevation sight, a removable bipod, and a 20-round clip.

The Appeal of Airsoft Guns
Due to the law and the cost, people cannot always own their dream guns. Airsoft, however, provides you with a realistic replica, allowing you to own a shooting (albeit nonlethal) version of that weapon. In fact, many of the weapons you often see in movies and TV shows are airsoft guns, thanks to the relatively cheap price tags and precise realism. The directors simply digitally alter the images to incorporate the muzzle flash, sound, and effects to mimic the real firearms. Generally speaking, most of the popular real-steel firearms have an airsoft counterpart, including the Heckler & Koch MP5 series, the venerable Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifle series, Colt M16s, Steyr AUGs, SIG 550s, FAMAs, AK-47s, M60 machine guns, IMI Uzi and Ingram sub-machine guns, famed pistols like Barettas, Colts, SIGs, and Glocks, Benelli M2 and Remington 870 shotguns, and sniping rifles like the PSG-1, M40A1, and Blaser 93R. Even Hollywood guns like the RoboCop pistol and the M134 Vulcan--a six-barrel Gatling gun made famous by the Predator and Terminator movies--have airsoft counterparts.

The ability to own and play with your dream guns is appealing enough to many enthusiasts. The added advantage of taking these guns to a local playing field and "shooting" your best friends in a friendly competition is a hands-down selling point. There are countless clubs, teams, and organizations devoted to the sport of "waging war" with airsoft guns, known throughout the world as skirmishing. In essence, airsoft role-playing allows people to fulfill their fantasies, which (due to physical disabilities or circumstances) they never got the chance to do themselves. These people may be bankers, insurance brokers, secretaries, students, or computer programmers by profession, but for one day a week they can be Green Berets, assassins, SWAT members, Navy SEALs, or whatever else.

C. An (Yucaipa, CA USA)
Okay.
i bought this gun like two months ago. When i finally got it, it looked really good.
But, i changed my mind when i shot it.
it's barely 200fps!!! maybe like 150fps...
i know why its 10 dollars.
when u buy its not 10 dollars. its like 35 or something :(
if u r going to buy this gun, its ur fault. i'm buying an another gun today.
its plastic so be careful with that.
BUT DONT FORGET TO NEVER EVER BUY THIS GUN!!!!!

I bought this because it looks pretty good in the picture and wasnt out to spend a whole lot but when i opened this it was pathetic it shot once and then the spring broke and it was useless so i gave it to my little brother who was 3 at the time and when i handed it to him the freakin stock broke off so i just tossed it dont waste your money

1 out of 5 stars worst gun i ever purchased   March 3, 2010
The gun was plastic and not metal. It was broken before I even got it opened. It was made of poor quality and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

2 out of 5 stars This gun is not as great as it may seem.   February 26, 2010

This gun is not as great/terrible as some people would lead you to believe.I dont want to sound angry but this gun is cheep. The scope is worthless, the bullets have a horrible right curve and the bipod dosent mount on any of my airsoft guns. Remember you get what you pay for and the company selling it is always makeing profit. Some of the reviews clamed that the gun shoots up to 300-350 fps but it sure dosent seem like it does to me. Again I dont want to seem mad or angry but I would not advise buying this gun.

1 out of 5 stars do not buy this gun TOO SMALL unless your 12 years old or younger !!   February 23, 2010
danny blazin (STRATFORD, CT, US)
first of all this gun is not a 1.1 scale replica like advertised its more like 3/4- 1.1 scale !! as soon as i received the package it was so small i said to myself this cant be a 1.1 replica of a rifle ,maybe a handgun !! i do not know how it shoots ,fps or its accuracy etc because i am not shooting the guns they are only used for gun props in action scenes and skits !! SO DO NOT BUY THIS GUN IT IS SO SMALL I CANT EVEN HOLD IT - I DIDNT EVEN PUT IT TOGETHER ITS LIKE A PRACTICAL JOKE I HAD TO LOOK AROUND TO SEE IF ASHTON KUTCHER WAS GONNA JUMP OUT AND TELL ME THAT I'VE BEEN PUNKED ..its not like i can return it the shipping will be the same cost as the gun its a lose lose situation (the company won they got me for 10 bucks)!! chalk this one up as a loss !! i have bought many airsoft guns as props and i suggest buying from airsplat or ulitmite paintball if u want to buy a airsoft gun !! i would have rated it no stars if they would have let me maybe negative stars ya that sounds good i rate this gun negative 4 stars!!
