Nice quality, mounts solidly with no wobble, it's a solid piece of metal. However, it will block your iron sights, and is too low-profile to mount on a beta-spetznaz or an AKS-74U model.
 Not Bad, but took mine off quickly March 26, 2008
I mounted this to my Romanian AK-47. It mounted quite solidly, however, it did block my entire view of the iron sights. That in itself makes me uncomfortable leaving this rig on my AK.
I had used this mount to attach a SureFire flashlight and a cheap Tasco Red Dot sight which was fairly accurate, (Of course nothing compared to my Bushmaster/EOTech 512 combo) but after a few shots the cheap Tasco Red Dot would flicker out. This had nothing to the with the mount of course, but the combination of cheap scope/AK Recoil.
In any case, whatever you decide to attach with this mount, the mount is solid and wouldn't budge, very sturdy typical weight, but the fact alone that it obstructs my iron sights or BUIS was enough for it to be dismounted and set to collect dust in my garage. Especially considering this is an AK which in my opinion were never really meant to be accurate assault weapons but more just an indestructible lead thrower for the masses.
