Single-shot Big Bore 909S .45 cal. air rifle with a 244cc air reservoir. Dramatic power and excellent performance. Two power levels. When cocking the gun, the first bolt stop is low power, the second is high. This elegant second-generation design is combined with a brilliant metal finish. A checkered pistol grip and forearm make it easy to get a firm grip on the gun. The stock is made of beautiful hardwood. Let's look at some recent testing using a fill of 2700 psi and a 180-grain roundnose bullet. Shot 1: 704 fps (198.14 ft-lbs or 268.64 joules) Shot 2: 673 fps (181.08 ft-lbs or 245.50 joules) Shot 3: 649 fps (168.39 ft-lbs or 228.31 joules) Shot 4: 634 fps (160.70 ft-lbs or 217.88 joules) Shot 5: 520 fps (108.10 ft-lbs or 146.57 joules) Refilled with 2700 psi, the second string is below: Shot 1: 713 fps (203.24 ft-lbs or 275.56 joules) Shot 2: 681 fps (185.41 ft-lbs or 251.38 joules) Shot 3: 670 fps (179.46 ft-lbs or 243.32 joules) Shot 4: 518 fps (107.27 ft-lbs or 145.44 joules) Shot 5: 655 fps (171.52 ft-lbs or 232.55 joules) In the second string, shot 5 was more powerful than shot 4. That's an anomaly. When the gun is broken in, that won't happen. The gun can be filled to 3000, which will deliver more power. We used a relatively light bullet for the above tests. If you use an even lighter one, your velocities will increase. If you use a heavier bullet, your velocities will drop. Recall information...
