Amazon.com Product Description A 1:1 scale replica of an actual MK23 pistol, this UTG spring-powered airsoft gun is remarkably authentic. The MK23 fires round 6mm plastic pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun by compressed air. The advantage of the airsoft pistol, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The MK23 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft gun is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The pistol--which offers a velocity of 310 to 320 fps when using 0.12-gram BBs and 220 to 240 fps with 0.2-gram BBs--includes a fake silencer. Specifications: - Velocity: 310 to 320 fps with 0.12g BBs and 220 to 240 fps with 0.2g BBs
- Length: 9.5 inches with fake silencer
- Weight: 1.3 pounds
- Magazine capacity: 25 rounds
- Firing mode: Manual cocking
- Safety: Yes
- Extra magazine: Yes

airsoft gun March 14, 2010 Michael A. Sencenich my son loves the gun but the silencer is a problem. It does not always screw on straight and makes the inaccurate gun even worse. if you are looking for a good entry level gun, this is it.
My New Favorite Airsoft Pistol March 14, 2010 M. Flanagan (Austin, TX) this is a very good gun to have if you are getting into airsoft. It is my 7th gun, and is my favorite. It is my most accurate, and the combat sights are very easy to use. I like the heft and the size of the gun, especially with the silencer, and the extra magazine is a welcome addition. I recommend using a speed loader with this gun, because the bbs must be loaded one by one otherwise.
Also, the two tone color of the gun is very attractive in my opinion.
There is only one problem that I had with the gun - there was a packet of silica gel that shipped with it that somehow tore open so that when the gun arrived (3 days after ordering, yay) I had to shake all of the gel balls out of it. There was a piece of gel jamming the magazine release, so I had to force the release with a small flathead screwdriver. The gel broke, and the gun works perfectly fine now.
If you decide to get this gun, which I hope you do, you should also purchase a speedloader and some 6mm .2g ammunition in order to ensure that you are getting the most out of it.
not for collectors February 26, 2010 Richard S. Johnson This is a good "shooter". Construction is solid, weight is adequate - especially with the silencer attached. Accuracy is very good, as is the power. With two magazines and the metal silencer included, it is an excellent value.
The pistol is accurate in size and appearance, as far as it goes. However, the safeties and slide lock lever are simply molded into the frame and are not functional.
If you are looking for a collector piece, this does not compare to the USP's made by HFC or UHC, which have functional levers and takedown for a similar price.
However, it is a solid, well made shooter and a good value for that purpose
Good February 24, 2010 Jennifer M. Phillips (cincinati OH, USA) I bought this gun as my first pistol and its pretty decent
The pro's would be that it shoots really fast for a spring powered pistol, the aim is good but not perfect(A little curve up), Also it looks pretty sweet.
Cons-heavy if your weak-unlike me- kinda big- and kinda hard to cock
I would proboly recomend this to anybody who's intermediat, and not weak its a gun thats good for leaving welts If your in close range
This is a very good gun for backyard battles and ok for field play
perfect replica February 23, 2010 danny blazin (STRATFORD, CT, US) perfect replica !! excellent for hitman, navy seal, black op missions !! as for the firing of the gun,fps and accuracy i wouldnt know i am using the guns as props in action scenes and props!! the gun looks great on video !! great buy
