An exact replica of the famous sub-machine gun that many Special Operations units use today. It comes with the current Navy style trigger group. Inside of the VP5s metal body is a fully upgraded Version 2 gearbox. The gearbox has a reinforced metal shell and can take Marui compatible parts. Upgrades include a M120 spring, steel spring guide, steel gears, sector gear clip, steel bushings, reinforced poly carbonate piston and 16 gauge wiring. The velocities we measured are: - 380~400 FPS with 0.2g BBs - 330~350 FPS with 0.25g BBs... With the exception of the battery location both guns operate exactly the same so the manual is accurate for both models. The VP5-A5 holds the battery in its stock instead of in the foregrip like the M5-J. To open the stock, push down on the top edge of the butt pad and it will slide down off of the stock to reveal the battery compartment. Included is a metal scope mount. The scope mount only works with optics that have a 30mm tube such as the UTG TACTEDGE CQB dot sight.
