Daisy's 840 Grizzly is a single-stroke pneumatic, which means it requires just one pump stroke to power the gun. The airgun is sized for shooters 10 and older (adult supervision required), and the easy pumping effort is geared toward younger folks. The 840 shoots either steel BBs (Never shoot BBs at metal objects!) or .177 pellets. With a capacity of 350 BBs, this airgun is truly an all-day shooter. With BBs (350 fps), it's a repeater. With pellets (330 fps), it's a single-shot. It comes with a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The receiver is made of tough engineering resin, which helps keep the gun lightweight. The MOBU camo synthetic stock has checkering to ensure a good, steady grip. The dovetail grooves in the receiver make it easy to install the included 4x15 scope. The 840 Grizzly is perfect for plinking, shooting paper targets and training new shooters.... I bought this BB gun for my wife who loves to scare off squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits from her plants . This gun replaced another Daisy model [can't remember the model number]. We found out that this gun is not as accurate or powerful as our previous gun. This is probably great for kids playing around the yard but it is pretty weak and not too accurate. I will be purchasing another gun that has a little more zip to it. Kids? Yes! Adults? Forget it!

Dont buy this pellet gun plz. first of all you can get this rifle at walmart WITH a free carton of pellets fr 25 bucks! and second, it just plain sucks.

I got this for my 8yr old son for Christams and he loves it. Just the right size for him. Easy loading its a little hard to pump. He also shot his first bird with it. HE LOVES IT... I made a great choice.
