This is a beautiful and unique decorative wood and ornate steel replica of the pirate blunderbuss hand flintlock pistol. Blunderbuss dragon flintlock pistols are like modern day shotguns. They could be loaded with shot, nails, glass, or any other material with the potential of causing severe harm to the target. They were primarily used as a defensive measure in close quarters. This replica gun is a classic design complete with wood stock and ornate steel barrel and flintlock mechanism.
This pistol is for decoration purpose only and can NOT be fired, and it can NOT be converted to a real gun. The pistol is measured at 18.75" long. It was originally designed to be a lighter in addition to its decorative purpose, but the gas container portion was removed due to import restrictions. However, you can still DYI and add a gas container to chamber. The hammer can be cocked and triggered. When the hammer strikes it makes a nice click sound.
