We make our airsoft U.N.C.L.E. guns from Maruzen P-38 airsoft pistols and we have engineered them to be able to use our open end U.N.C.L.E. flash hider and still shoot airsoft bb's. You can also attach the U.N.C.L.E. carbine parts. Our U.N.C.L.E. airsoft conversion process-We cut the plastic barrel off and replace it with a custom machined short steel barrel with internal threads for attaching our flash hider, silencer and extended barrel. We then cut the brass barrel to the correct length. We work the end of the flash hider and the brass barrel so they fit with each other and still allow the slide to work properly and the bbs to shoot. Brad Ferguson did his homework alright -- These are the only replica guns on the market -- and attention to detail is what it's all about.
Mine is an all-metal copy, and I am totally satisfied with all aspects of it. All you dyed-in-the-wool secret agents should go here first for the original "transformer." It's a pistol -- it's a rifle -- it's a machine gun...!!

Wow! That's the one word that comes to mind when I look at and hold my Replica. This has the look and feel of a real P-38. The heft and balance seem the same to me. Brad Ferguson's attention to detail is remarkable! I've gone over the Time-Life DVDs freezing the picture to see if I could find any discrepancies between the ones used in the show and the Replica. I couldn't find any. If you suffered with the Ideal Napoleon Solo toy gun in the '60s, get this pistol. See if you can resist standing in front of a mirror holding it in some spy-like pose! When charged with gas, it even makes a sound very similar to that of a silenced gun! If you were ever a Man From UNCLE fan, this gun is the ultimate expression of that fandom. Buy it!
