2 out of 5 stars anti-fog? not at all   June 12, 2010
Laura L. Ragone
i got these and at first they seemed ok. i went out in the field and was playing with them and they instantly fogged up real bad, i couldnt see anything. so i resorted to taking them off to get a peek at where i was going to go or what i was shooting at then putting them back on. then as i was abbout to ambush a 2 man team the len's fell out and they where approaching. i scrambled to put them in but they where being difficult. all in all these suck.

First off I'll comment on how this product looks. In the picture they have on the page here, the lens look foggy or something. Maybe they did that so there'd be no question that there was a lens in the frame. I don't know. The real product itself has a clear, shiny lens though. The frame is made of some kind of non-glossy rubber-like material. The entire piece of eyewear is just slim and handsome. The device is fairly low profile. Particularly more so than your average paintball mask's goggles.

Next, the feel. The part of the goggles that makes contact with your face is just rubber-like stuff. The same stuff that the rest of the frame is made of. It is not uncomfortable and does not stick to your face. I personally prefer it over foam padding. The band that secures the device to your head is easily adjustable, nice & stretchy, and soft to the touch.

And finally.. the functionality. It functions. When it's being fit on, the corners of the device may not tightly hug your head, leaving a few open spaces. I personally don't mind this. But the device does bend. You can tighten the band to hug your head tighter so that the goggles bend and cover up the open space. Just gotta trade off a little comfort. The lens does protect your eyes. I've taken a few airsoft pellets to the goggles and the lens seem fine. Judging from the other reviews too, these google seem reliable enough.

4 out of 5 stars Very good   April 25, 2010

These goggles provide excellent sight and protection. The only thing is that if you have a relatively small head like I do, there will be a gap on either side where the mask will not completely touch your face. This relatively minor flaw should be negligible in the field as long as this is not the only piece of face protection you use. Overall a great product for the price.

i bought these google and i shot it with my jg m4 s-system (thats been upgraded to c02 ad fires at 507 FPS chronograoh verified)from point blank and all that happened was a little dent that took me a microscope to find. i would recommend these to anyone that dosent want to pay alot for googles. these are better than spending a 100 dollars on ANSI81 rated googles. and you cant see any of the black rubber around the side, plus its also ventilated really good and it never fogs up or even smudges.
