better than no gun at all... June 23, 2006 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
gun is decent...for the price that is (which by the way ends up being about 44 bucks grounf s&h). not that accurate from a distance (as expected) but good at 30-40 feet id say...mine came broken in the box (hotimport has good customer service and was willing to exchange) but i figured for the price id glue it back together... a little gorilla glue and some duct tape and it was good as "new"...all in all good starter gun but youll want a better one soon after (may i suggest the csi ak...see at shortyusa.com about 80 bucks, alot more solid. or anything made b utg)
Awful product; from someone who bought it. June 13, 2006 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
To put it blatently, this thing is garbage. It isn't fragile; it's feeble. It shoots .12s and .20s in EVERY direction known (and then some), the clip can't hold a wind worth a damn, and there are so many other problems with this thing. First, I got a one with a broken barrel. Now, I'm a rather industrious person, so I fixed the barrel with some epoxy. No big deal. Then I tried shooting it. BBs came out in every direction at a decent rate of fire. Not one of them went stright. I checked the barrel glue-job and it was glued perfectly. Many other reports of this problem can back me up. Next, the sling snapped off when carrying it normally. I fixed this with a twisty-tie. Then I tried opening it to oil the gearbox (all plastic, of course). The screw on the fireing control switch (the one that sets it to safe, semi-auto, and full auto) WAS ALREADY STRIPPED OUT. When I finally got the screws back in, for some odd reason it wouldn't fire full-auto anymore. I opened it up and to this day I can find no logical explination why (except the screw on the switch). It's all plastic, I think the only metal parts are the spring and the thing you attatch the sling to. Personally, from experiance, I'd suggest against getting this or ANY other LPEG (low priced electric gun), unless it's a mini. This, as well as anything else by CYMA that takes a battery (the three dollar pistols are okay) is garbage and should be avoided at all costs. Save up your money for a UTG Warhawk instead if you want an AK-47.

awesome gun...looks authentic, fires well, and overall its a good gun for what you pay, this is my first airsoft rifle and i thought it would break right when i got it....but it works perfectly, the magazine it comes with is cool....it has a speed loader built in to it, and it works well, id recomend this gun to any begining airsoft users.
Alright June 3, 2006 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I bought this gun last week and I was expecting a very powerful gun and this was not it. It shoots around 200 fps which is not very fast if you play airsoft a lot. One good thing is the firing rate. It fires very fast so you can unload a lot of bullets, which you have to since it fires a little bit slow. I would recommend this gun if you don't play long range, since it has trouble going very far. It seems quite sturdy, and it works well.
