1 out of 5 stars questions about this gun   March 9, 2008

is this gun really a cyma gun? because i bought a cyma g36 and i like it, and would like to get another gun by the same company. does the hi cap mag work well? and finally, is this gun worth the 30 bucks to buy it? if someone would either comment or write another review, and answer my questions, that would be great, thnx

1 out of 5 stars Worst experience ever   March 5, 2008

I purchased three of these from Hot Import Toys. All three failed on the very first use. All three had different issues, but the failures were all catastrophic. I returned them for warranty and informed the vendor I would not accept a replacement because I've already had three and they all failed. Do yourself a favor and do NOT order this gun. If you can help yourself, DO NOT purchase from Hot Import Toys. They do not answer calls or emails and there customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

2 out of 5 stars ehhhh iffy gun   February 14, 2008

well i got it
shot really accurately and hard
but after a while stuff began to break on the stock
the cylinder thing on the back broke off
but it was kinda cold that day so it might have been that
but then the back of the stock just snapped and slid off one day
with the rails that slide the stock following it
im going to try to fix it
but other than that shipping was good
shoots good
and one more thing do not use the laser scope doesnt line up with the iron
sights and makes it hard to aim
but for 20 bucks good gun i guess

4 out of 5 stars Great starter gun   February 5, 2008

This is an exellent beginner Airsoft gun. It comes with the standard 20 round magazine and an extended capacity 110 round one that should be cranked every 30-40 shots. The Rate of fire added to the FPS rating makes it a decent weapon, and it IS twenty bucks.

I'm an ametuer airsofter, and this is one of my choice primary weapons (my other is a spring sniper rifle)It holds plenty of ammo and fires far enough hard enough to make a competitive gun. A feature of note is that you can open the repository on the right side of the extended magazine and load it while still firing. I've also played for extended periods of time (800 rounds or so in 3 hours worth of matches) and the battery hasn't run out on me yet.

For twenty bucks, you can't do better. For more money, you're probably going much better anyway.
