3 out of 5 stars Decent low-end starter gun   February 17, 2008

First off, the CYMA gun is not the one featured in the picture of this page. The charger is in a different location, and this gun has a different set of accessories. That being said, this gun is not that bad for the price of $20 that was listed here several days ago. However, I would not recommend paying more than $20-$25 for this gun. You can get a much better Airsoft for $50. To start out, this gun is fairly sturdy, with a good weight to it. It shoots at about 200fps when the battery is fully charged, and outdoors with little wind, your shots are likely to go 50-100 feet. It features semiauto and full auto fire, and you can empty the 40 round magazine in just a few seconds. It comes with quite a few accessories, all of which I found to be fairly worthless in practical application, they are all there just to look cool. First off, my gun did not come with a red dot laser, probably due to some kid blinding his sister and their parents suing CYMA. The included flashlight is extremely dim, and will do little more than just give away your position. You could easily change out the bulb or modify the flashlight to be brighter, but at that point you're better off just getting a better gun with better accessories. The detachable sight is misaligned, and aims way too far to the right. It's glued together, so it can't be taken apart and recalibrated. It's good looking, but totally useless. Same is true for the front handle seen in the picture. You can't support the weight of the gun on that handle without it popping right off, unfortunately. The unjammer/unloaded that was provided was broken when I recieved it. This gun comes with a speedloader, which is nice, and works well. Overall, a decent gun for $20, assuming you aren't looking for all the accessories to work great. You might have better luck than I did, however. I would not recommend this gun for competitions, just because it is so low-end.

Edit: After a month or so of light use, the gearbox skipped a gear during normal use, and the gun would no longer fire. I had to open up the entire gearbox assembly and reset the gear before the gun would work again. Not saying you'll have these problems, but this kind of stuff can happen with a cheap gun like this.

4 out of 5 stars kinda sturdy gun   November 4, 2007

this gun seems pretty good. only thing that kinda bothers me is that the switch to make it full auto to semi auto is kinda hard to turn.
sometimes i feel that i might break it if i turn it too much.
other bad thing about it is that the little clips that holds the gun strap is very very very fragile. =(
Descent Fps, very Solid, wish i could find a hi cap for this gun but eh...
but this is a beginners gun or just something to have to shoot your friends with.
other then tha the gun is excellent. 1 jam so far but i think it was my fault.

4 out of 5 stars A Great weapon   September 8, 2007

Okay, I had trouble biuying this weapon due to past experiance, but the weapon is fine. It has some weight to it, so it's not going to break when you hold it and it shoots EVERY time you pull the trigger, not every other like some others. Mine DIDN'T come with a laser eyes, supressor or extra magazines like in the picture, don't expect it. Mine came with teh gun and the charger with the foregrip. The weapon shoots fine, but can't fire high densities very far, and regulars CAN be effected by wind if the HOP up is turned off.
Overall, it is wroth the money, the shipping is more than you think, but it came fast. This weapon isn't meant for pinpoint accuracy, it is meant for use in addition to a powerful gas or spring hnadgun or shotgun which you use at a range. Keep this one strapped to your back and pull it out when tehy get too close, they'll be surprised...

Ps: I don't do five stars, I'm not sure it's PERFECT.

5 out of 5 stars Awsome gun I recomende it and I give it 4.5 stars   September 5, 2007

This gun looks great, shoots great, and its rate of fire is realy tremendous! Also the grip on the gun is very comfortable and you can even screw theses two other grip attachers (or whatever their called)that come with the gun to hold it from the side and shoot it as if it was a minni gun. The acuracy is realy good as well. I bought this gun 2 weeks ago and it still works like a charm but the problem is that this gun can only hold up to 42 bb's and 42 bb's is gone in seconds by this guns fps! WOOW!!! Also the magazine dose not realy hold real bullet its just there to make it look real and im right it dose look cool. My gun did come with reachargeable batterys, safty goggles (witch it isn't that much of a great goggle), a pack of yellow 6mm bbs, a speed loader (witch this is realy cool), a barel thing and folding stocks witch I dont realy care. And when it's not realy a windey day this this gun can shoot pretty far but there may be a little bit of trouble on this gun. Also on this gun you can choose to shoot one bb at a time or many! That means you can go semi automatic or fully automatic. I recomend you by this product. The G36C

5 out of 5 stars pop a few caps   July 30, 2007

Firstly, this gun does not hurt very much. Sometimes it gives a little sting. Usually it doesn't. It is an amazing deal; a fully automatic Airsoft gun for less than thirty dollars. One time I went, as the Americans would say, "beast mode" on my "home boy" and unloaded my clip into him in under 500 milliseconds. It is fairly accurate at long distances. I recommend it to any of my fellow hoodlums who like to pop caps.
