AMAZING June 3, 2008 This gun is extremely accurate and powerfull. This is my first gun and is great. highly reccomended for anyone. One thing, the hop needs a bit of fiddiling with to get it just right. otherwise, awesome.

Darn good May 24, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This gun has great bang for its buck. It's excellent for the asking price. Its accuracy is Freaking awsome it shot a soda can from 30 yrds which is much smaller that a person your playing just to let you know. the only complaint is when cocked if you point it down my bullet falls out of the barell which sucks. The M14 is heavy and durable with adjustable sights which help. Great overall

Gorgeous M1 Garand Springer March 28, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I ordered this gun like a month ago based on the reviews here. And it's a beautiful, awesome gun for it's price. It comes in a huuuge, long box, that opens up to reveal a box labeled SDM1. I was pleasantly surprised to see one of those grey speed loaders, a stick to unjam things, a tube for bbs, and a rail mount (which I think is kind of useless because it's a solid gun as it is- attachments might break off?). It has very nice distance for a springer, and there's no battery charging or gas replacing because of that.
The only downside is that you have to cock it for each shot, and it's quite hard to cock. I always end up leaning the butt on the ground to get the lever back.
Also, there's an adjustable switch when you take the magazine out that you can use for hop-up. I haven't used that yet- but there's a very nice user photo that shows it.
The gun is pretty hefty and large. Not something people will want to jog with. But it has a HELL of a lot of bang for it's buck. If you're looking for something that's not Tokyo Marui, this is a really good buy. I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with second-rate airsoft gun before.
