Pulse R 74, cant go wrong December 1, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I got this gun, and its great, ive been airsofting for a couple of month now, and the $50 guns just dont cut it. You need to spend $150-$200 on guns if you want accurasy, and good Qwality.
Becaraful, their is a brand called HotImportToys, the guns are cheep and they claim they are the counter part of $400 versions, but they are not, they are cheep and breack very easily.
Now with the review, This gun feels rightm its a solid form, does not have loose parts, you can defenently feel and see this is a solid piece of (cant find the word for it but you get it). Not only does it feel good, it looks and shoots great.
Accuracy This is a very accurete gun, it shooot very straight, and out of all the shots i fired, they all maid it into a nice tight circle. I was impresed, this is a very very accurate gun.
Hop-up: this means that the BB will jump up after it leaves the beral, but you can adjust it with this gun with ease to go straight.
Like i said the desighne was great, the accuracy is insain, but he clip is also cool. They have a gear thing on the button witch is called a diale, what it is is you wined it up, and its like a wined up toy, it pushes the BBs up, and it works great, i had no problem with it.
When you wine up the diale, doing it by hand takes a bit of time, so draging along you leg, or ground wined it up fast.
This is an awsome gun, its worth every peny, i will rewrite this rewiev with better content, but hope this is good for now.
Very good for the price. October 10, 2006 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This was my upgrade for my MP5 spring. I got it at a discount, but I believe that it is still well worth this price. Pros: -Good fps and power even with .12g (I would reccomend .2g) -Hefty and solid weaver (RIS) rail section on the front adds weight to give the gun a good feel. -Good range (I've hit people from 100 feet using controlled bursts or semi-auto) -Intimidation factor. This gun sounds wicked and will likely make unaware victims bolt. -The spin up magazine. When I got this gun, I was suspicious of the mag. The theory seemed sound, but it seemed iffy that it would work in a firefight consistently. But it does. With a little practice, you can go a whole engagement without really having to pause to reload (just spin it and you're ready). Very surpirised. Also eliminates the need to buy a second expensive mag.
Cons: -Accuracy is not the best with .12g, better with .2g, but still not great. But hey, with a magazine of 375, who cares if you miss a bit? -A little too loud to use if the neighbors dislike night battles or the whole idea of airsoft fights. Using semi- helps, but it is not as fun. -Plastic body and clip do not feel quite as sturdy as I would like, but they're not in any means flimsy. Just don't throw the gun or hold the clip as a handle and you'll be fine. -Runs through a lot of plastic (Is this really a con? You decide, America!). Just expect to go through at least a good 500 bbs in a average 2-3 hour engagement.
Over all, this is a great gun for even intermediate airsofters. Get it as an upgrade for a spring rifle and it'll serve you well. It has its faults but it makes up for them in price and overall good feel.
