5 out of 5 stars Excellent gun!   January 18, 2007
As a starter in airsoft, I was given only a few gun to try.

I bought the Lasersoft Model 1904 from Marksman that broke in the first hour, then another that consumes as much battery as the first one.

I tried the Defender of the World Peace, which has unlimited graqvity-fed barel but really limited range, accuracy and power.

Finally, I tried this one. I absolutely love it. It is accurate, pretty quick shots, really powerful (leaves marks), and reliable.

It never failed shooting and it never jammed.

The only con is the short magazine. That's why I'd suggest using a cheap automatic battery-powered gun to back you up when you shot your 20 rounds.

5 stars!!!

5 out of 5 stars Reliable and fun   January 14, 2007

This is my second airsoft gun, and I mainly bought it to replace a gun that broke within a day and 20 shots. In constrast to that gun, the S32P is a lot of fun, very reliable (no jams and every attempt to fire has been successful), nicely weighted, and just satisfying to fire. It fires quite accurately, and certainly quite fast.

As it (apparently) has a Weaver-compatible rail system, I bought a red dot sight and am going to attempt to attach it to the rail.

My only gripes, which don't detract from it being 5 stars:
1. The stock magazine only holds 17 to 18 rounds. I'm researching higher-capacity magazines.

2. It didn't include rounds. That's not a problem for most people, but if you don't happen to have any rounds, be prepared to buy either 6mm 0.12g or 6mm 0.20g rounds--it is compatible with both.

3. There are no sights, so aiming is improvised by looking down the rail. That's why I bought the red dot sight, which, ironically, is about the cost of the gun itself. I suppose that, being a shotgun, it'll look strange to have some tactical red dot sight on there, but it's an airsoft shotgun, not an actual shotgun, so the same principles don't apply.

4. While the gun is well constructed, I wish the trigger itself was metal. The safety, slide and rail for the cocking mechanism, and obviously the barrel are metal. The mounting rail, magazine, and grip are not metal.

5. The design of the magazine and its interface to the gun means that a small tunnel is formed between the magazine outlet and the chamber. This tunnel holds three rounds, held in place through spring tension provided by the magazine and the rounds inside of it waiting to be chambered. This means that while the magazine holds 18 rounds, you can only fire 15 rounds as the remaining three won't be chambered and will simply fall out when you detach the magazine. I wish the design was altered so rounds were retained in the magazine until they were chambered.

5 out of 5 stars blah   December 26, 2006
i have had this gun ever since august and loved it the power is really high and hurts a lot, wen i shoot this 10 year old he cries and then he yells time out wen were airsofting. The really good thing about this is that theres a hop-up to make it go EVEN farther AND more accurate.

Once i shot this one kid and he started to cry. Dont get 0.12 gram bbs for this gun! Get the heavy 0.2 gram bbs, trust me you want to do that.
